Denim jackets scream Spring to me, plus I love mine so much it felt like the natural place to start. I did a little photo shoot with my girl, Nicole Beno to show you some of my favourite ways to wear this versatile piece - have a peek!
In my opinion, there's nothing more classic or, as I said above, more versatile than a denim jacket. From casual weekends, to work, to a night out, and from denim-on-denim, to dress pants, to dresses, the right jacket will take you everywhere you need to go. And you'll look and feel cool as hell while doing it. If you do nothing else with your wardrobe this Spring, make this a priority. Trust me, you need a denim jacket in your closet.
There are so many different styles of denim jackets and ways to wear them, which means there's something for everyone here. My preference is one that sits just above the hips, and is fitted but not too tailored. However, my best advice is to ignore what's 'trendy' and think about how you want to feel when wearing it. There is literally no wrong answer when it comes to how to wear a denim jacket, so don't overthink it, just go with your gut.
Although there are limitless ways to slay the denim jacket game, I do have my favs. I've done the research and here are my top three brands and denim jacket styles this season for every price point (including a few deals!):
- Old Navy - Denim Jacket: If you're looking for cheap and cheerful, look no further.
- GAP - 1969 Denim Jacket: This is the style I'm wearing in the photos, it's bomb.
- Levi's - Original Trucker Jacket: You can't go wrong with Levi's.
Now get to shopping!
